Claire Sawatzky PRESIDENT Claire is the owner of Barefoot Potential and has dedicated her whole 18 year career to Health & Fitness. Through her work she is dedicated to bringing out the increased performance, focus, mental clarity, self awareness and grit that physical health creates for people in their life. With Phillip Island Business Network she is delighted to be working with such a strong, experienced and kind committee who genuinely are focused on working productively together as Phillip Island Businesses adapt to this monumental time in history. Kimberley Brown Vice president Kimberley is the General manager of North Pier Hotel and has a love for hospitality. Kimberley was a Bass Coast Shire Councilor from 2012 - 2016, and Deputy Mayor and Mayor. Major events and tourism, are a passion of hers for the economic, social, and wellbeing value that they bring. Currently a board member of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and Table Tennis Victoria. Secretary of the Phillip Island & San Remo Liquor accord and Secretary of the Grantville Environmental Review Committee. Geoff Moed Managing Director of A Maze'N Things Established A Maze'N Things in 1991. Winner Victorian Tourism Awards 2005 and 2017. Director at Pannys Amazing World of Chocolate and supportive of Rusty Water Brewery. Founding committee member of Destination Phillip Island and former committee member of Phillip Island Tourism Association. Geoff was the previous President of the Phillip Island Business Network working group. John Dickie Director of Wildlife Coast Cruises Operated small businesses for past 42 years, Established Wildlife Coast Cruises nature based marine tours 26yrs, past committee member DPI, PITBA, VTIC transport & tours, Bass Coast Economic, on the local tourism side, many others in past profession. Experienced in International and Domestic Tourism and promotions, all aspects of operating small business, problem solving, budgeting and leading a team to get things done. |
Simon Manning Treasurer Simon is the Director of Coastal View Financial Services - Accountancy Practice. Simon has been a Certified Practicing Accountant for 30 years. He has a degree in Economics/Marketing and is a Board member of Newhaven College, Your My Sunshine Foundation & Chair Cowes of Classic Committee. Shane McLaren Creative Director of SMAC Advertising With over 30 years of experience working in-studio and independently as a freelancer Shane enjoys building brand identities, advertising campaigns, digital products and promotional material for all types of businesses. Shane was previously a member on the committees of the Phillip Island Swimming Club and the Phillip Island Soccer Club. Kate Adams Visitor Experience Manager at Phillip Island Nature Parks Kate has over 25 years experience working in nature based tourism and is passionate about promoting sustainable and responsible business that meets the needs and expectations of customers and the community as well as protecting the environment for future generations. Kate has extensive experience in many aspects of tourism management and has been a representative on committees for tourism, environmental education, reconciliation, and safety. |
