Our committee members come with a wealth of experience from various locations across Bass Coast and surrounds.
Jess Patman PRESIDENT Jess is the Shore Operations Manager at Wildlife Coast Cruises and has a strong passion for the community, local tourism, sustainability, and wildlife. She has been a member of the Phillip Island Business Network (PIBN) committee since 2021. Jess is dedicated to promoting sustainable tourism and showcasing the natural beauty of the area. She values her role both at Wildlife Coast Cruises and on the PIBN committee and feels strongly about strengthening the local economy and community.

Kimberley Brown VICE PRESIDENT Kimberley is the General manager of North Pier Hotel and has a love for hospitality. Kimberley was a Bass Coast Shire Councilor from 2012 - 2016, and Deputy Mayor and Mayor. Major events and tourism, are a passion of hers for the economic, social, and wellbeing value that they bring. Currently a board member of the Australian Grand Prix Corporation and Table Tennis Victoria. Secretary of the Phillip Island & San Remo Liquor accord. 
Lauren van Strijp Lauren van Strijp represents Bass Coast Shire Council on the Phillip Island Business Network, supporting collaboration between Council and the Phillip Island business community. In her role within Council’s Business and Industry Development team, Lauren works closely with local businesses, industry groups and stakeholders to support business growth, encourage collaboration, and ensure local initiatives reflect the needs and priorities of the local business community. Before joining Council, Lauren owned and operated a business, giving her a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by small business. Prior to this, she worked in corporate HR, building experience across people, leadership and organisational development. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and getting lost in a good book. |
Simon Manning Treasurer Simon is the Director of Coastal View Financial Services - Accountancy Practice. Simon has been a Certified Practicing Accountant for 30 years. He has a degree in Economics/Marketing and is a Board member of Newhaven College, Your My Sunshine Foundation & Chair Cowes of Classic Committee.
